US2-U-000049. Authentic US Army Air Corps khaki / tan service cap with soft leather visor. Manufactured by Dobbs. These caps were widely used by Fighter pilots and bomber crews on the European and Pacific Theater of Operation during WW2. The single ply leather visor is very soft and pliable as expected on WW2 crusher caps.

WWII US Army Air Corps crusher cap bankcroft flighter type chocolate hat. This is a period original piece. The hat isn’t marked for size. When I try it on I get about a size 6 7/8 or so.
